The continuous bright annealing furnace is a dedicated heat treatment system designed specifically for stainless steel products, especially for long strip materials such as stainless steel pipes and strips. The equipment achieves microstructure refinement, stress relief and surface brightening by heating and rapidly cooling the workpiece in a sealed, controlled atmosphere.
Process Overview:
The system continuously heats the stainless steel to about 1050°C and then rapidly cools it to below 100°C in a pure hydrogen atmosphere. Heating usually uses an induction coil, and cooling is carried out in a sealed cooling tunnel by efficient heat conduction. This ensures a uniform treatment effect while maintaining surface finish.
Atmosphere control system.
Pure hydrogen is used as a protective atmosphere due to its excellent reducing properties. Unlike systems that require large amounts of inert gas or mixed gas, the furnace consumes only a few liters of hydrogen per minute, significantly reducing operating costs.
Despite the use of pure hydrogen, the system is still very safe due to its sealed structure and extremely low gas consumption. All exhaust gases are sent directly to a dedicated flare system for combustion, preventing hydrogen from accumulating in the surrounding air and eliminating the risk of explosion.
