The Walking Beam Furnace has a system of beams, made of refractory or tubular, which are placed over a mechanical frames system andhydraulicaly powered, allows to the furnace to make the move of the products,the resulting move is like a “walking” ,step by step, fromthe charging to the discharging.Walking Beam Furnaces are the most compact solution for billet re-heating featuring high productivity and the best temperatureuniformity. They achieve top performances while strongly limiting pollutant emissions.
Powered supply is optional with Electric or Gas.
1. The walking beam furnace allows the product to be heated from all sides, with very effective heating and soaking of bilets.
2. The bilet does not slide on the bottom of the furnace, there will be no scratches under the billet, and the heating quality is good.
3. When in maintenance or stopped,the bilet can be withdrawn from the furnace to avoid oxidation and decarburization caused by the biletstaying in the furnace for a long time.
